Owning a prefabricated wooden dwelling comes with numerous advantages, with a notable perk being the meticulous testing of virtually all components and connections in numerous iterations.
The primary benefit of prefab houses lies in the swift on-site construction pace, a level of speed attainable only when a substantial portion of the building and detailing processes takes place in the factory. As an illustration, Baltic Wood Factory manufactures components such as floors, ceilings, roofs, and spatial elements.
"FAP-tech" is a fundamentally new technology for the manufacturing and assembly of load-bearing wooden structures for houses and other structures."FAP-tech" represents a new method for producing elements and their subsequent assembly into load-bearing structures for construction facilities of various purposes. The raw material for the manufacture of all construction elements is dried planed timber of coniferous species (pine, spruce) measuring 50mm x 150mm and with lengths ranging from 3.0 to 6.0 meters.Additionally required for manufacturing the elements are: PVA-D3 glue; M8 bolts of 124 mm with washers; screws of 3.5 mm x 75 mm and 135 mm; hand-held power tools and special devices. The average consumption of planed timber for one square meter of the total area of the horizontal levels of the structure (floors), or for 3.14 m³ of the overall construction volume, is 0.3 m³.
